Visti Hald and Ulrich Stærk enjoyed a long-term concert collaboration, sharing their passion for Italian music. In their interpretation of the works, they try to imbue the glowing and warm-hearted Italian music with a Nordic tone to give it a special touch and a new life.
The songs in this recital programme are complemented by contemporary piano pieces.
The CD also features the love duet from Otello, starring the famous opera singer Gitta-Maria Sjöberg.
